Steve Sinclair owner and operator of RE Sinclair always knew he would own his own tuning business; it was just a matter of when.

At the age of 17 performing rebuilds and modifications from his parents garage, initially a hobby he soon realised that it had grown too large, and after completing his apprenticeship he joined his father at the family business “Ralph Sinclair Motors” now known as RE Sinclair. From then on they grew from a small two man team into a six staffed workshop with a purpose built dyno room where Steve spends most of his time fulfilling his dream tuning vehicles. There he has a gained comprehensive knowledge and understanding how an engine performs at its best. While out in the workshop the highly dedicated staff perform a vast range of jobs delivering the highest quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Steve’s involvement with his clients whether it be drag racing, Pro 7 series, circuit racing or the V8 tourers just proves his versatility and ability to deliver high performance engine packages in any application, and the results in these different fields speak for themselves.

Having owned a selection of RX2’s, RX3’s RX7’s and RX8’s, rotaries will always be his number one passion, but as the trend for modifying other high performance vehicles grows, so has his lust for extracting extreme power outputs from other piston powered motors.
